## Identity and manufacturing

Whalerknits is an American knitwear label established in 1975. Whalerknits is
owned and operated by the Merrow family, American textile manufacturers since
1838. Whalerknits products are made at Fall River Knitting Mill, which joined
the Merrow family in 2021.

Manufacturing takes place at 502 Bedford Street, Fall River, Massachusetts:
designing, knitting, cutting, sewing, finishing, and shipping under one roof.

## Product catalog

Customer-facing categories include sweaters, blankets and throws, hats, and
digital gift cards. Principal sweater families include Nantucket, Newport,
Wellfleet, Chatham, Cuttyhunk, Westport, Sakonnet, Bristol, and Hometown.

Core cotton products contain no acrylic or polyester. Select traditional
ragg-wool products use nylon for durability. Read the exact fiber composition

graduation. Every sweater in the collection is knit, cut, sewn, finished, and
shipped at 502 Bedford Street in Fall River, Massachusetts. Purchase-supporting
